What happens after the first year?

The Founding licence costs €120.78 including 22% VAT (€99 net; tax varies by location) and includes twelve months of updates and two active devices. You can keep using your eligible version afterwards. A manual renewal costs €120.78 including 22% VAT (€99 net; tax varies by location) for twelve more months, counted from the later of today and your current update date. There is no automatic subscription.

Can I open an existing Astro project?

Yes. Choose its folder to add it to the workspace. You can also create a project from a template. Astrology works on the project files in that folder.

Which AI agents can I use?

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent and Google Antigravity CLI. Install and authenticate the agent you want to use. Astrology runs that CLI; it does not provide an API-key form, an included model subscription or a local-model selector.

Does the agent wait for me to approve every file?

No. Propose requests a read-only or planning session. Edit allows file changes, and Autonomous gives the agent broader command access. These modes are not a security boundary; permissions depend on the agent and its configuration. Review changes in preview and Git, keep backups and do not expose secrets to untrusted projects.

What can I edit?

Edit supported text, links and images in the preview, try style changes, or work on the full source in Code. Content collections have a dedicated editor for entries and simple metadata fields. Visual changes need a clear source match; generated values and more complex styles may need the agent.

Does my code stay on my computer?

The working files stay in your project folder. A new-project brief is stored in local app data outside that folder, then sent to your selected agent CLI for the first implementation. Connected tools can send data over the network according to their configuration and provider policies; Git pushes and deployments send code or build output to the selected service.

What do I need to install?

Node.js, npm and Git are required. Use a Node.js version supported by your Astro project and agent CLI. GitHub CLI and your hosting CLI are needed for their respective features. Some initial installation and login steps happen outside Astrology.

Which Astro versions and platforms are supported?

Astrology detects your project's Astro version, but a tested compatibility matrix has not been published here. The current installer requires macOS 13 Ventura or later on an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later); an Intel Mac build is not available yet.
